what we do

Let’s be real, when most people hear "policy," their eyes glaze over. Worse, they think it's too complicated, political, or disconnected from their everyday lives to care about…especially when it comes to sport. We’ve all heard it before: “shut up and dribble.” The message is clear, athletes should stay in their lane, and sports should stay out of politics.

But the truth is, policy touches everything athletes and teams care about: working conditions, gender equity, racial justice, youth wellness. The list goes on. Policy literally creates the world we live and play in. That’s why our work starts by breaking it down.
